IT - Project Manager/BA

AutoConcept Insurance is a growth company that works with insurance solutions for the vehicle trade. Our customers are vehicle dealers, general agents, and vehicle owners. Our goal is to deliver and manage customized and unique insurance solutions. AutoConcept today consists of about 40 employees and we operate in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. Our head office is in Kungsbacka, just south of Gothenburg.

Who are you?

You are a self-propelled Project Manager with BA skills, interested in technology and more specifically how technology can bring value to our insurance system. You have an outspoken get-things-done personality and taking initiatives comes naturally to you. You are not afraid to think outside the box and focus on solutions rather than problems. We believe you find it easy to reach out through oral communication and you are confident in getting others to understand the point.

The role

As our IT Project Manager, you will be part of the IT/Marketing, working out of our head office, providing support to all departments and thus supporting Auto Concept’s growth

We have a custom built ERP that supports and develops by 8-10 people  in two teams, offshore in Sri  Lanka. In your role you will be the bridge between our business and our dev deams. There your primary contacts will be a head of support and a BA on their end.

AutoConcept is a small company and your will be a key person when it comes to improving our processes and projects cross-functional. You will get an in-depth understanding of business needs, transforming them, through your technical knowledge, into requirements for projects to be delivered by the feature dev team. You will also prioritize the support sprint back-log for smaller CRs and bugs. You will be the person with best all-around knowledge of the product and its applications.

The work also consists of:

  • Act as a bridge between our department managers, tech supplier, product- and application developers.
  • Communicate with our BA and Support Manager in Sri Lanka and their dev teams, act as product owner, prioritize sprint contents and guiding them throughout the process.
  • Identify bottlenecks and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Be first line contact to our IS/IT supplier.
  • Manage projects and processes in all business areas. 


  • Fluent English and Swedish, both written and spoken
  • Ability to transform business needs to technical requirements
  • Experience from working with customers and understanding their needs.
  • At least 3 years’ experience of working as a Technical Project Manager / Lead.
  • Excellent collaboration skills.

It is good if you have experience from one or several below:

  • Working in Insurance or Financial Industry
  • Understanding of both back-end (economy routines) and front-end (revenue streams)
  • Experience from .NET, SQL and API’s
  • Application testing or Development Background is a huge plus.

The role is full time, long term with start as soon as possible.
